Recently, Phil Tackett, FLIR GC/MS Product Manager, and I had the honor of being a guest on The Haz Mat Guys Podcast, with hosts Michael Monaco of HazMat Company 1, FDNY and Robert Salvesen of Hazardous Materials Command, FDNY. The popular and educational show brings Hazardous Materials response information and resources to over 10,000 subscribers in an engaging and easy to understand format.

During the interview, Phil gave Mike and Bobby an exclusive first look at the FLIR Griffin G510 portable GC/MS that launched at this year’s IAFC Hazmat 2017 tradeshow. In addition, FLIR PRIMED spokesperson Grant Coffey, a retired Portland Fire & Rescue Hazmat Team Coordinator and CBRNE expert of nearly 40 years, had a chance to talk about our new video series and a delivered a sneak peek into upcoming episodes.
